Bears by the Beach is based in the quaint and quite beautiful traditional fishing village of Mevagissey in Cornwall, England. We are a family owned specialist Bear shop and pride ourselves on stocking bears of the highest quality and also unique One of a Kind Artist Bears. Our lovely Bear shop is found amongst the stunning little streets of Mevagissey, a small working fishing village that also offers lots of specialist craft shops and galleries, little tea shops, restaurants and pubs, with a great harbour (ideal for crabbing) and small beach, making it perfect for a day out.

Amongst our vast selection of collectable teddy bears, you will find the world renowed Steiff Bears from Germany, Charlie Bears from Cornwall (we are a Paw Store), Merrythought Bears from Shropshire as well as Clemens Bears from Germany, to name but a few. For those wanting a unique one of a kind bear we offer a fabulous selection of Artist Bears from around the world, including beautiful bears from local Bear Artists based in the South West and Cornwall. We also specialise in Antique and Vintage Bears that have long been retired and are hard to find with our selection changing weekly.

If you are looking for a Teddy or gift for a Newborn, Christening, Baby Shower or Birthday, we have a dedicated section within the shop with lots of squidgey and collectable cuddlies so you can find that perfect present.

We also have a fantastic range of  quality 'pocket money' cuddlies to keep kids and parents happy too !
